Profile of Una Carroll MVB BComm

Una graduated from the Veterinary College at UCD in 1997. She has always had a special interest in working with small animals and has done so extensively over the last 11 years. She has worked both in the UK and Ireland.

Una along with her Practice Manager, Catherine run Vets Direct, Ireland’s premier Veterinary House call service! Bringing our veterinary consult room to your home. Our goal is to be the most convenient veterinary service you have ever experienced.

Una says "we understand that you know your pet best and when you talk about your pet, we listen. We want to see your animal live a long, happy and healthy life. That is why we believe in preventative health care and make it a priority.  Without the stress, fear and trauma that can occur when animals are taken from their familiar surroundings they respond better and may even heal faster when veterinary care is provided in the comfort of their own home."

Una has written some information leaflets about pets, their ownership and care, that you can read by clicking below :

With less than 10 days to go there’s lots of hustle and bustle going on in the backrooms of all the teams taking part in this year’s Pet Expo at the RDS on Saturday & Sunday 8th – 9th of October.

Two of Ireland’s Veterinary Keyhole specialists Paul Kelly from Meath and Eamon Walsh from The Toby Vet Practice in Cork will be  at the Ask the Vet Clinic to answer any questions you may have about  Laparoscopic Keyhole Surgery at Pet Expo .  Please feel free to pop over to the see them when you visit Pet Expo.  They’ll be delighted to chat to you about all things pets and possible worries.

In terms of Laparoscopic Keyhole Spaying, you’ll will be fascinated by what you see,  as I have been;  while filming and editing videos of the procedures at Paul’s Surgery in Ratoath – getting ready for his exhibition at Pet Expo.
